Marrakech: Where to Stay for a Romantic Getaway or Honeymoon

February 12, 2020

It took me a little, but I’m finally sharing with you my Marrakech travel guide – Where to Stay. After visiting Marrakech for the second time I’m ready to share with you my favorite Hotels and Riads. As soon as we landed we fall in love with its architecture and colorful streets. There are so many options that you can find on Airbnb or Booking, we will tell you a little bit about our favorite ones

If you are looking for an itinerary for a short weekend in Marrakech check this blog post

If you have more than 5-6 days in the city we recommend you reading this blog post about what to do 1 week in Marrakech

Riad Berbere

Definitely one of our favorites. Ingrid, the owner welcomed us with a traditional moroccan tea, she was very kind as she let us visit the Riad when we couldn’t book our stay at her Riad. We spent our evening dancing around in the roof, drinking tea with our furry friend. Next time we will stay here for sure, it has the best rooftop of Morocco. You can also book a romantic dinner in the main area surrounded by palms, flowers and kittens.

As 2023 this hotel doesn’t exist anymore..!

Riad Yasmine

One of Instagram’s most famous spots, everything is perfectly decorated. If you are planning on staying here remember to book in advance, we were late and everything was booked so we could not stay with them either, but we are adding this place for our bucket list next year.

Es Saadi

Unveil the epitome of luxury at Es Saadi, a prestigious hotel in Marrakech. With private pool villas exuding opulence and exclusivity, immerse yourself in lavish comforts. Moreover, revel in the allure of the unique blue indoor pool, creating an oasis of relaxation and tranquility in the heart of the city.

Breakfast was served in front of the main pool surrounded by palms.

They have multiple vegan options, which was great for us

Escarabeo Camp

At Scarabeo Camp, we were treated to a truly personalized and delightful experience. As we are vegan, we were thrilled to find that the chefs thoughtfully crafted a sumptuous lunch, tailored to our plant-based preferences. Every bite was a celebration of flavors, reflecting the essence of the Moroccan desert.

After lunch, we explored the desert oasis, soaking in the tranquility that surrounded us. Nestled in this enchanting haven, we found solace in the midst of endless rock dunes, feeling like the only souls in this vast expanse.

The inviting pool offered the perfect respite from the desert heat, and we couldn’t resist dipping our toes into its refreshing waters. With each splash, we felt an undeniable connection to nature, a profound appreciation for the simplicity and beauty of the desert landscape.
