Monstera Adansonii – Swiss Cheese Vine

By far one of my favorite plants! It used to be very difficult to find but now you can find it almost everywhere! You can let it hang or climb up a moss pole. Requieres a bit more of attention compared to the others but they are very easy!

Water: Every few days

Light: They prefer bright indirect light or medium

Humidity: They do better with higher humidity, you can use a humidifier or spray water on the leaves. Also make sure to keep the soil moist but not completely wet or it can cause rot.Tip:you Can Cut Below The Aerial Root And Propagate It Water Like This One!Tip:You can cut below the aerial root and propagate it water like this one!

Pilea Peperomioides – Pancake Plant

Definitely on my top list! I adore these plants. A few years ago it was nearly impossible to find them and they were expensive, now they are everywhere and can buy them for as low as 3$

I’ve heard some people struggle with them but it may be due to overwatering or giving a pot that is too big for the plant.

Water: Usually once a week, check the soil

Light: They will grow faster in bright – medium light

Tip: Rotate the plant weekly so it has a round shape.Img_8236.Jpg

This is my Alocasia Polly

Alocasia is a big family, including rare plants such as black velvet, silver dragon etc. But! Some of them are very common and easy to take care of, such as Alocasia Polly or Zebrina.

To make the plant happy water once a week and try to keep the soil moist, medium light and high humidity if possible.

Remember in winter they go dormant and it may loose all the leaves, it’s not dead!! Just water once a month or less and wait till spring!

Hope you find this article useful and that you become a plant parent soon!
